Natural stone worktops are highly durable and look virtually indestructible, but it’s worth following this basic care advice to keep your worktop looking its best.

Protect work surfaces from hot pans and plates using a platter

Always use a chopping board when cutting

Clean spillages as soon as possible to prevent staining or water damage

Avoid using abrasive cleaning cloths as they may scratch

Granite and quartz worktops

Your worktop should only need a quick wipe with water and a mild soap or cleaner if cleaned regularly.

We provide a free care kit with every granite or quartz worktop installation. The kit includes a full care and maintenance procedure as well as a specially formulated detergent and cleaning cloth for removing tough stains.
